The STX-2 Stand is a MAJOR upgrade from the original S2X stand, which did not work very well. While they both share a similar design, the new S2X-2 is much wider and has a better clip on that grabs and holds very nicely. The stand consists of two pieces that snap onto the bottom of the transceiver, so the top panel sits at a 45° angle to the surface, for perfect viewing and operating. The four rubber no-skid feet keep It steady on your desktop when you are pressing on-screen graphical buttons. Extremely lightweight, at about 0.02 Lb. Does not add shipping cost when added to any other product.

MMX ZERO...
The MMX ZERO is loved by many current users. However, time moves on. The ZERO was specifically "just" a Morse code encoder/decoder, with no transceiver inside. Thus, no bands, and the name ZERO.
MMX ZERO was one of our best sellers for quite some time. But again, times change.
We introduced the DitStomr Cypher™ at HamCation in February, 2026. It was our most exciting new product introduction, and we ended up selling out our first production run in 2 days. We more than doubled the production run, and followed it by another of the same size. We started shipping in early April, with Release 1 of software. This was replaced with Release 2 in early May, and will again be replaced with Release 3 in late June. Each release increased the power of the decoder and added planned features as well as customer requested features.
The Cypher is the best alternative to the MMX ZERO, and is less expensive, and much smaller.
However, there are still some situations where you might want to consider a different alternative, the DMX-40. Yes, it does have a 40M QRM transceiver inside, along with the same guts as the MMX ZERO. Turned on, it operates like an MMX ZERO, until you turn on the internal transceiver. So if you want that package, with a built-in LCD rather than using an external divice to host the Cypher GUI (a PC, a tablet, a phone), then the DMX-40 is for you. Only slightly more expensive than the MMX ZERO.
Summary: ZERO discontinued, replaced by:
DitStomr Cypher™, with full color graphical user interface (GUI) hosted on a browser on your device, with extraordinary decoding, audio scope, powerful band pass filter (BPF), and much more.
DMX-40, with built-in LCD, good decoding/encoding, self-contained.

This is the reference manual for the MMX ZERO. It focuses only on the ZERO capabilities, with no reference to the MMX transceiver, which is not built in. ZERO means no bands built-in. The manual is printed in full color in magazine format on glossy paper.
Included in the manual are instructions for setting up a transceiver, using the Icom 7300 as an example. The user will have to translate that to their own transceiver, as different companies use different terms for the same thing, and different methods or controls for settings.
It is strongly recommended to use the MMX & ZERO Quick Start Guide to begin using your MMX ZERO, and then use this manual the way it was intended, as a reference for information. The manual has a rich set of appendices that have a lot of useful information, for example.

Morse Nexus Carry Bag
MorseNexus offers a carry bag with shoulder strap with 3 pockets on front, large pocket on back, and center storage area. This deluxe bag can hold an MMX Nomad, a solar battery and a solar panel, plus cables. It can also hold a Cypher and its cables along with the MMX Nomad. Alternatively, it can hold a complete MMX 3-band transceiver, with keyboard, solar battery solar panels, cables and speaker and headphones.
So with either setup, this one bag works well. Of course you can use it to carry many different things - it is quite roomy, at approximately 12" wide, 9" high, and opens up to 4" deep or more. This bag is manufactured with waterproof canvas material, dimension is 32*25*10cm, with a 15cm handle. Heavy stitching and high quality zippers used throughout.
MMX Morse Transceiver Reference Manual
PDF files for the MMX Reference Manual and the MMX/ZERO Quick Start Guide are of course made available in the Document Library under the website Resources menu item. However, some people prefer paper! Note that ePub versions also are available, which can be used in a Kindle or other document readers.
Version 1.2
This is version 1.2 of the Reference Manual, and has many improvements. Besides being in full color, it is also printed in a beautiful bound version on glossy paper like a magazine, only with heavier paper. And, it's 30% lighter than the original edition!
Many errors were corrected from the original edition, and more information was added. However, please note the following:
