Description
If you run your Xiegu X6200 for extended periods you've probably noticed it gets warm — and sitting flat on a table or desk doesn't help. This 3D printed bottom mount lets you put your X6200 on any standard mini tripod, lifting it off the surface to allow airflow around the radio and help keep temperatures in check during long operating sessions or POTA activations.
The angled tripod position also lets you tilt the radio face toward you for a better view of the 4-inch waterfall display — especially useful on a slanted operating surface or when the radio is sitting low on a park bench or table.
Installation is simple — the mount bolts directly to the existing covered plate on the bottom of the X6200 using the included screws and washers. No modifications to the radio, no permanent changes. The included hardware is everything you need.
Printed in black PLA and field tested through extended operating sessions — including real POTA activations in Florida heat. The mount holds up and has shown no heat deformation from the radio's normal operating temperature.
