This 20,000 mah battery has it all: a high-efficiency solar panel on one side, a 4-led battery status and charging level indicator, a green led charging indicator, a lensed flashlight, two ways to charge (USB micro or USB C), and dual USB 2 amp outputs, protected behind a soft plastic cover to keep dirt out.
And best of all, this battery packs 20,000 mah (milli-amp hours) or 20 amp hours of power. It can charge your phone and run your MMX at the same time as it is charging, including plugging in an external solar panel into the USB C connector.
There is even a compass on the back side! Just in case you need it in an emergency.
The packaging is heavy-duty and this product feels great in your hand. A single power button does multiple things:
1. A single short press will turn on the charge indicator if you are in a dark area. The charge indicator - 4 blue LED's and a green LED - will always light up under indoor and outdoor lighting automatically due to the solar panel on the top of the battery.
2. A single long press will turn on the flashlight. a subsequent short press will set to SOS mode, and another will set strobe mode. Finally, the fourth short press will turn off the flashlight.
The 5 led battery charge and status indicator will be active under normal indoor and outdoor daylight without pressing the button, as the built-in solar panel will start charging as soon as there is light on the surface. Note that covering some of the surface may block charging.
This battery is capable of powering an MMX in normal operation for 10-12 days, based on 4 hours use per day including 1 hour of transmit, without any recharging. We recommend an hour a day of charging to maintain battery levels, using our solar panel.
