Does this bracket hold the display head? No. The MBF4 is designed specifically to hold the main body (chassis) of the radio. To mount the detached control head, you will need the MBA-2 (for 5100) or MBA-5 (for 2730).
Can I use this for an older Icom radio? While it is specifically marketed for the 5100 and 2730, it may fit other Icom mobile radios with similar chassis widths. However, we recommend checking your radio's manual to ensure the mounting hole pattern matches.
Does this include the screws to bolt it to my car's floor? This kit includes the screws to attach the bracket to the radio. Because every vehicle is different, the self-tapping screws or bolts needed to secure the bracket to your vehicle's interior are typically provided by the installer or sold separately.
