This rugged, single-body mobile radio operates across the 136–174MHz frequency band with a powerful 50 Watts output. It supports simultaneous Analog FM and IDAS (NXDN) digital modes, enabling a flexible, phased migration from legacy analog systems.

The Icom F5130D offers clear, streamlined operation with 128 channels across 8 zones, managed via a high-contrast, wide viewing angle black background LCD. Safety and security are key, with features including Lone Worker, Emergency Call, Digital Voice Scrambler, and compliance with MIL-STD-810 G. Its versatility is expanded with optional external control via D-SUB accessory cables and integration with external GPS receivers.
