Do I need an adapter to use this with my HM-series radio? While the speaker features a 3.5mm jack, most DMR mobile radios require the POA117 cable assembly to bridge the speaker and visor microphone to the radio's accessory port.
Is this speaker waterproof? The SM09S2 does not have an IP rating and is designed for internal cabin use. It should be protected from direct exposure to rain or high-pressure spray.
Can I mount this on the ceiling of my truck? Yes. The included adjustable bracket is designed to support the weight of the speaker in both upright and inverted (ceiling) mounting positions.
