3D Printed Ladder Line Connection Box

I've had my G5RV up in an inverted vee configuration for a while now. At the base of the ladder line where it connects to the coax running into the shack, the connection has always just been bare — no cover, no weather protection, nothing. It's been on my list to fix and I finally got around to designing a box to cover it properly.

The box protects the ladder line to coax transition from rain, UV, and whatever else Florida weather decides to throw at it. Down here that's not a small thing — the sun and humidity alone will destroy an unprotected connection faster than you'd expect.

The Design

I designed the box myself to fit the connection point on my setup.

If you've got a G5RV or any antenna with an exposed feedline transition and access to a 3D printer, this is a quick weekend project worth doing. I'll post the print files once I've had it outside long enough to confirm it's holding up to the weather.
